US President Donald Trump has downplayed fears on the development of artificial intelligence, despite widespread concerns on the technology's safety. Trump says he does not want America to concede its AI edge to China. He adds that while there is need for regulation, "negative forces" are behind warnings and the push for oversight. He's added that some of the fears will not happen and "whoever wins with AI, wins".
